Our Thursday class is intended for newer moms with babies who are still napping 2 or 3 times per day -- babies who are content to be in a stroller for an extended time -- though of course moms of older kids are always welcome. We will move around the Park, using benches, steps, grass fields etc. as our gym; you will do lunges, squats, push ups, planks and more. As in all of my classes -- but particularly in this one -- the intention is not just for you to get a great workout, but also to teach you how to use proper form and why we do certain exercises. Core rehabilitation and strengthening is a key component of this class.
In addition to motivating you to work hard, teaching you about the exercises you are performing and watching your form, I -- your trainer -- am also there to assist with baby -- to rock, hold, bounce -- so that you can focus the hour on you!
We meet 5 minutes before start time at the entrance to Grand Army Plaza.
Its recommended to bring:
- blanket for little one
- water bottle for mommy
